Aro Joseph

Director, Operations

Joseph Aro is a creative GIS analyst, Geographer, and Climate Change Analyst with over 8 years’ experiences in conducting remote sensing analysis, digital mapping, database design and administration, as well as spatial analysis, climate change analysis and Field data collection. He is currently the Project Manager, the International Association of Young Geographers, West Africa, The Director of GISCleric International and the Co-founder, OEA Consults, an early startup focused on Geospatial technologies and drone mapping focused on using technologies to solving environmental and societal challenges in his country, Nigeria. Joseph holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Geography with focus on GIS, climate change impacts and disaster risk reductions. He currently pursues a PhD. Joseph is solely dedicated to using the knowledge of geospatial technologies to advancing the course of developing countries in Africa especially with respect to planning for sustainable development which is pro Poor and in the field of Climate change especially with respects to indigenous communities. He is a researcher, Entrepreneur and Human rights activist in his country Nigeria where he advocates for inclusion and social justice by building capacity for poor and indigent communities He is an International Fellow of the Humanitarian Innovation Initiatives.

Osude Adekunle

Managing Director

Tpl Kunle Osude is a Registered Town Planner and a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners. He has over 30 years as a Planner in Lagos State, where he retired as a Director. He is a technologically astute professional with footprints in the digitization of planning processes in Lagos State as well as introduction of new technologies in the Lagos state Physical Planning Ministry. He is the Managing Director of OEA Consults Ltd

Aiyelokun Oluwatobi

Lead, Geospatial Intelligence Analyst

Oluwatobi Aiyelokun is a Water Resources, Public Health and Environmental Engineering professional with more than 8 years experience of applying innovative technologies such as Geographic Information System, Artificial Intelligence and numerous Soft Computing packages for project planning and provision of sustainable solutions. Oluwatobi is currently a PhD candidate of Civil Engineering (water resources and environmental engineering), where he is currently researching on numerical modelling for the optimization and management of available groundwater in order to reduce the effects of climate change and over exploration.

Afolayan Precious

Executive Assistant / Associate Geospatial Analyst

Afolayan Precious Temilade has a Bachelors’ degree in Geography and Environmental Management from University Of Ilorin, Nigeria. She is very concerned about the sustainable use of the environment and its resources. She is hardworking, creative, self-motivated, diligent and passionate about GIS (data collection,
analysis and mapping) and programming.

Umar Abdulkareem

Lead, Geospatial Image Analyst and Surveyor

Surv. Umar, Abdulkareem A. MNIS is a Surveyor, Geospatial Expert and Geomatician. He is an energetic, adaptive, highly dynamic, hardworking, innovative and self-motivated individual, with experience and knowledge in Geomatics Sciences, Spatial Applications, coastal and environmental dynamics, who can be highly committed, diligent and loyal towards defined objectives. He has worked with Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Abuja, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Abuja, Precision Surveys and Engineering Services Limited, Abuja and is currently a Geospatial Image Analyst and Surveyor for OEA Consults, Lagos. He is a member of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON), Nigeria Institute of Surveyors (NIS), Geoinformation Society of Nigeria (GEOSON) and the Nigeria Hydrographic Society (NHS).
